Flank steak is a cut from the abdominal muscles of the cow. It is also called the London Broil. Flank steak is a long, flat cut that runs from the rib end of the animal to the hip or rump. The grain of the steak is very long and makes it a bit tougher than some other cuts, but marinating and slow cooking can tenderize it. Flank steak is high in protein and low in fat. It can be used in stir-fry dishes, fajitas, stews and casseroles.

Setting D Ranch LLC is a third-generation ranch offering Ranch Raised Pork and Beef. The cattle and pigs are raised on our ranch in Litchfield, Nebraska. They are grain finished and are processed at a USDA Inspected facility where they are dry aged for a minimum of 14 days.
