Kathy’s Kitchen & Garden began when late husband encouraged her to take a load of sweet corn to the farmers market in the Kmart parking lot in the early 1990’s. According to him, she went from a “sharecropper” selling extra produce that she couldn’t freeze or can to a “claim jumper” expanding her garden into the sweet corn field. Then baked goods and jellies were allowed at farmers markets and she found out just what busy really was. She started with a few flavors of varied jellies and then added plain cinnamon rolls and French bread. Kathy now makes 10 or so flavors of cinnamon rolls with many unusual flavors, she loves baking with her collection of cast iron pans.
